Barbara "Joan" Parker Perkins, age 78 of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Hillspring Health Care Center. Joan was born in Franklin, Ohio on April 13, 1937 to the late Charles and Susie Parker. She was a devout Christian and was a member of Grace Gospel Baptist Church in Carlisle. She retired from NCR.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Perkins; sisters, Virginia Glossip & Louise Hunter; brothers, Charles Leonard Parker & Carl William Parker. Joan will be missed by her daughter, Kathy (Donald) Cox; niece, Gail Holt; grandsons, Eric (Katie) Cox & Jeremy Cox, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Mike Worrell officiating. Burial in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at the funeral home.
