Barbara J. Smith

Barbara J. Smith, age 82, of Liberty Township, OH went to Heaven to be with her Savior on June 4, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 17, 1942 to the late Jimmy and Gertrude Willis.

Barbara was employed with General Motors for 19 years. Following those years, she devoted her life to share the message of Salvation as a faithful missionary and Pastor's wife. She enjoyed gospel music and singing.

Barbara was preceded in death by a son, Greg Smith, brothers, Roy, Bobbie; a sister, Bonnie; a granddaughter, Carrie Hollin and a grandson, Jeffery Smith. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Thomas H. Smith; also her children, Sherry Davidson of Franklin, OH, Terry Elam and her husband, Paul of Liberty Township, OH, Vicky Smith of Franklin, OH, Jeff Smith and his wife, Rosanna of Butler, PA; her sister, Betty Vaughn of Indiana; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Barbara will be Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. with Pastor Ethan Daves officiating. Burial will be in Germantown Cemetery.
