Bertha Harweda Osborne

Bertha Harweda Osborne, age 85, of Lebanon, Ohio, died Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Lebanon Health Care Center. She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on March 9, 1932 to William and Ethel (Compton) Bingham. She was a teacher in Kentucky for 10 years and with Franklin City Schools for 25 years and retired in 1982. She was preceded in death by her father, William E. Bingham, mother, Ethel Bingham, husband, Howard Osborne, brothers, Reed C. Bingham and Buford Bingham, sisters, Fern Hayes and Soleta Spears. Bertha is survived by son, Howard K. (Linda) Osborne; two daughters, Penny (Larry) Grimes, Wendy (David) Grimes; brother, Gene (Norma) Bingham; grandchildren, Matt, Marie, Kenneth, Kevin, Kassidy, Kristen, Tracy, Erica, Sam, Sara; and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Friday March 9, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Homes 40 North Main Street Springboro, Ohio with Rev. Amy Haines officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
