

Bessie June Baker, age 87, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, and formerly of Franklin, passed away on Thursday March 17, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on September 22, 1934 to the late Steve and Hallie Fields (Campbell).
Bessie worked and retired for the Lexington School District, as well as worked for Sam's Club as a product demonstrator. She was known as a devout Christian who had a strong belief in God, whenever someone would leave her house Bessie would always say, "All good things come from above".
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reverend Hobert Baker Green Baker Sr. in 2015, son Steve Baker; brothers, Bill and Jerry Fields.
Bessie is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Rick) Garr; son, Hobert G. Baker Jr.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sister, Nada Gay Strunk; and brother Mason (Debbie) Fields.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday March 22, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005. Funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm with Tyler Fields officiating. Burial will take place at Woodhill Cemetery.
