Bessie Dollie Moore

Bessie Dollie Moore, age 87, of Franklin, Ohio, died Sunday February 12, 2017 at Laurels of West Carrollton. She was born in Franklin, Ohio on August 17, 1929 to Benjamin and Edna (Myers) Charlton. Bessie was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Franklin and the Deardoff Center. She was employed with Gerke Elementary School for 23 years and retired in 1995. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Lester Charlton, mother, Edna Rebecca Charlton, and husband, Eugene Moore, and her ten brothers and sisters. Bessie is survived by children, Shannon E. Moore, Deitra (Larry) Albaugh, deceased grandson Rodney (Christian), great grandchildren, Isaiah, Elisha, Levi, Hannah; grandson, Cory (Jaime), great grandchildren, Kaley, Savannah; Vicki Peters (Steve), grandchildren, Bradley, Adrienne, (Jim); Liz Benner (Doug); grandchildren, Derek, Lara. Funeral services will be 12pm Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Cory Albaugh officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Dayton.
