Bette Walton

Bette J. Walton, age 87, died peacefully Monday, December 1, 2014 at The Woodlands. She was born March 20, 1927, in Middletown, the daughter of Charles Riddell and Iva Turner Riddell. Bette was a longtime member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 367 in Middletown. She is survived by two sons, Robert Constance Walton, Jr., Chuck Carol Walton; three grandchildren, Eric Cathy Walton, Robert Lisa Walton III, and Kimberly Rob Yost; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, the former Butler county Sheriff, Robert Walton, Sr.; her parents; two brothers, Charles Riddell and Edwin Leap. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Thursday at the St. Luke Presbyterian Church, 4311 Walton Court, Middletown, Ohio 45042 with Reverend Dr. Reginald Olson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time Thursday at the church. Entombment will be at Woodside Cemetery Mausoleum.
