Lit a candle in memory of Betty Jane Chaney

I never really got the chance to know you, but those few times that i did get the chance was absolutely amazing! I could tell right off the bat that you had a kind heart, and you would do anything for anyone. I remember when my parents and i came up there to visit you guys, you and Eva went with us to a big mountain that had a cave, it was so beautiful! It was raining that day, and you said "I better get out of the rain, Sugar melts". lol. I guess that's why i got so close to you, because of your personality, and your fun spirited. You always put a smile on my face, even when i was mad at my parents i couldn't hold back a smile because you always had a way to make me laugh. I wish i could have spent more time with you aunt Betty, those 2 days before you passed wasn't enough time. I do miss you, i miss you a lot actually. When i first walked in Adas house and seen you laying in that chair, it broke my heart. That wasn't the Betty i knew... I wish god could have just picked someone else to go home, he was ready for you but we were not. Its a hard thing to process, i am always asking myself "Is this real"? Its just really hard for me to believe that your gone. i never really thought much on cancer, until it took you! Its a horrible thing for anyone to experience. I wish i would have spent more time with you at Adas while i had the chance, but i knew you were tired and that you weren't  feeling good. I have loved you since the first day i met you. I know that your gone now, but somewhere in my heart there will always be a space for you, and forever it will hold memories and unconditional love for you aunt Betty! I know some people fear that when they die they will be forgotten about, but i will NEVER forget about you! I hate that the last memories we shared, were you laying in that bed hurting, and in pain. Cancer took you, but you dont ever have to worry about it again, you dont ever have to worry about getting hurt, or feeling pain. Because you are with Jesus now. I guess it is true, god only takes the best! I promise ill see you again, your spirit will always linger around me! Its sad to say goodbye to someone you love, but i know its not forever, i guess thats why im not as upset as i thought i would be. It says to cry when your brought into this world, and rejoice when your taken out. And i guess thats because this world is a horrible place, but once your deceased you'll be with Jesus if you made it right with god. I love you so so so much beautiful, Ill never forget you!

I love you so much and will miss you even more!!! I know your battle and I know you are finally at ease. For the past 6 years of my battle with cancer, you always kept me positive and made me see the brightness in every day!! You are and always will be my inspiration and I can't explain in words how much I will miss you!! I love you sis. Please keep watching over all of us down here. Until we meet again I love you.
