Betty Lake

Betty Ann Lake, age 89, of Franklin, OH; died Thursday October 27, 2011 at Franklin Ridge and had resided at Renaissance Village for 4 months. Betty was born in West Carrollton, OH on October 30, 1921 to Ralph and Edna (Hill) Jones. She was a member and Past Matron of the O.E.S. Chapter #535 in Franklin, member of First Baptist Church of Franklin, and owned and operated Lake Jewelry in Franklin for over 50 years. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur "Red" Lake in 1987, a brother Howard Jones, a sister Virginia Jones, and a special aunt Eva Jones. She is survived by her 2 sons Gary Lake and wife Sondra, Steve Lake and wife Sandy; 3 grandchildren Stephen Lake and wife Nicci, Michael Lake and wife Mandy, Ryan Lake and wife Shelby; 3 great grandchildren Aubrie, Grant, and Jameson. Funeral services are Monday October 31, 2011 at 9am at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Rev. Vernon Risner officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery.
