Betty Moon

Betty Jean Moon, age 84, of Franklin, OH; went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 18, 2025 at her residence. Betty was born in Morehead, KY on October 17, 1940 to the late Loren and Martha (Richardson) Crosthwaite.

Betty was a beloved Pastor's wife and she was the Head Cook at Camp Lebanon for many years. She was a devoted Christian serving the Lord and her family faithfully. Her and her husband Phil, fostered seven children.

Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Waddell and her brother, Woody Crosthwaite. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Pastor Phillip Moon; her daughters, Melanie Mikesell, Melissa (J.D.) Miller; her grandchildren, A.J. Mikesell, Rachel (Greg) Campbell, Megan (Justin) Turner, Jordan (Tamara) Miller, Jay Miller; her great grandchildren, Emma, Judah, Weston, Mercy, Everly, Walker, Clay, Maeve, Sloane, Graham; her brother, Danny (Judy) Crosthwaite.

Visitation will be Thursday May 22, 2025 at Towne Boulevard Church of God from 11am to 1pm followed by the funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Mark Jackson, Pastor Terry Ball and Pastor Kevin Beck officiting.

Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
