Betty Jean Sparks, age 80 of Middletown, left this world on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the West Chester Medical Center. She was born September 2, 1937 in Middletown, the daughter of Ormond and Artha Mae (Robinson) Ewing. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (husband, Michael) Alfrey; sons, Steven J. (wife, Vicki) Sparks, William (wife, Connie) Sparks, and Joe (wife, Tina) Sparks; seven grandchildren, Brian Williams, Jodi Jones, Billy Sparks, Casey Johnston, Markie Sparks, Steven Sparks and Joe Sparks; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Catherine Martin and Janet Ewing. Betty’s family will receive friends, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Thursday, January 11 at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home.
