Betty Stacy

Betty J. Stacy, age 81, of Middletown, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Avalon by Otterbein at Atrium. She was born September 22, 1931 in Hilton, Kentucky the daughter of Daniel Pelfrey and Pollie Richie Pelfrey.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Stacy of Middletown, Mitchell Stacy of Centerville; one granddaughter, Jessica Lee Stacy of Grand Prairie, Texas; one great granddaughter, Isabella; three sisters, Mildred Maggard of Hazard, Kentucky, Thelma Bud Russell of Franklin, Reva Bob Greer of Lexington, Kentucky; two brothers, Paul Zelma Jo Pelfrey of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Ken Sandy Pelfrey of Springfield, Ohio; and two sisters-in-law, Edna Pelfrey and Rita Pelfrey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Stacy in 2008; her parents; one sister, Nadine Combs; and two brothers, Otis and Bill Pelfrey. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Ball and Reverend Mitchell Burch officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the Winchester Cemetery, Winchester, Kentucky.
