Betty Marie Steele, age 85, of Carlisle, Ohio, died Sunday August 17, 2014 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. She was born in Xenia, Ohio on April 9, 1929 to William and Nellie (Young) Walker. She was employed with the Springboro Board of Education as a cook for 25 years. Betty is survived by her husband of 66 years, Vaulty, two sons, Ken (Yvonne) Steele and Timothy(Vicki) Steele; a daughter, Diana (Tim) Eich; also two grandsons, Tyler and Calvin. She also leaves two brothers, Tom and Eddie Walker; and two sisters, Patty Arno and Frances Hayward. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 21, 2014 1:30 pm at the Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 E. 2nd. Street, Franklin, Ohio.
