Betty Tewell

Betty Lou Tewell, Betty Lou, age 86, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Dayton, April 2, 1925, the daughter of Emmett and Violet Kinser. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Tewell in 2005, and by her parents and 2 brothers, Terry and Buck. Survivors include her children, Beverly Pete Bolen, Thomas Linda Krueger, Pamela Vince Gibbs, and Toni Tewell Garrett Givens; 9 grandchildren, and 13 greatgrandchildren; and dear friends Darlene Taylor and Velma Delores Stoll. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Omer Hurlburt, Dr. Albert Malcolm, and Dr. Barry Robertson; to Nurse Danya at Garden Manor and the many nurses and aides that took care of her, and to Vitas Hospice. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday, May 7, at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Funeral services will then be held at 1:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Duane Mecklem. Burial will follow in Germantown Cemetery.
