Morris, Brian J., age 76, of Franklin, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, August 31st, 2023. Born in Franklin, Ohio on May 10th, 1947, Brian was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a man who lived life to the fullest and found joy in simple pleasures.
Brian had a passion for the open road and cherished his time riding his Harley Davidson alongside his dear friends.
In addition to his adventurous spirit, Brian was deeply committed to his family. He was the loving son of Barbra (Jenkins) Morris and the late Herman Morris. His father's memory lived on in his heart, and he shared a special bond with his mother. Brian also held a deep connection with his sisters, Diane Purtee and Sandra Pavia, They supported each other through thick and thin, creating cherished memories together.
Brian was a proud father to his daughter, Mitzi Karen Riddell, and a loving grandfather to his grandsons, Austin Riddell and Taylor Wallace. His family meant the world to him, and he cherished the moments they shared together.
Brian's dedication extended beyond his family. He proudly served his country in The United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1970. His bravery and selflessness during his military service were a testament to his character and unwavering commitment.
Retired from General Motors, Brian enjoyed a well-deserved retirement where he could spend more time pursuing his passions and creating lasting memories with loved ones. His warm smile, contagious laughter, and genuine friendship will be greatly missed by his countless friends and family members.
In honoring Brian's memory, let us reflect on his love for life, his love for the open road, and the joy he brought to those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the memories of his adventurous spirit and the bond of friendship he shared will forever remain in our hearts.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 15, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes (1357 E. 2nd Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005). Visitation will be from 10:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
