Carl E. Barnhart age 88, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012. He was born August 16, 1923 in Germantown, Ohio the son of Ohmer and Ada Barnhart. He served in the Army Air Core during WWII. He retired from General Motors after 36 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, LaVeda Morrison.
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Jean; three daughters, Kathy Fogt (David) of Sidney, Ohio, Sharon Williamson of Anchorage, Alaska and Carol VanZant of Miamisburg, Ohio; and a son, Jon Sharp (Ruth Ann) of Carlisle, Ohio; two brothers, Lester and Ernest Barnhart; and three sisters, Irene Weaver, Mildred Gentry, and Jean Smith. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
