Carl Blair

Blair, Carl of Franklin, Ohio passed away on December 22, 2021 at Carlisle Manor. He was born on April 18, 1934 in Johnson County, Kentucky. He was raised by Leonard and Ella Blair, and mother Eythel Spencer.

Mr. Blair proudly served in the United States Army. He also worked for Queen City Drywall for forty-five years. He loved being outdoors while fishing and hunting, later on in life Mr. Blair really enjoyed yardwork. Carl was known as a family man, and took great care of his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Goldia Blair in July of 2018.

Mr. Blair is survived by his daughter, Carlene (Bill) Samples of Franklin; sons, Dannie (Paula) Blair of Franklin, and Randy (Antea) Blair of Franklin; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-granddaughter.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday January 4, 2022 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second Street Franklin, Ohio 45005 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at 10:00 am. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Woodhill Cemetery.
