Carl Carpenter

CARPENTER, Carl, age 75, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born on June 18, 1946 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Ruth and Ollie Carpenter. Carl had a love of country and oldies music. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing working on cars and trucks as his career was a mechanic for the Cadillac dealer, and Carl even researched his family ancestry. Carl served in the United States Army during Vietnam.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Fulk (Musser) and Ollie Carpenter; brother Ralph Carpenter.

Carl is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna D. Carpenter (Ishmael); daughters, Debbie Shockley (Paul) and Rhonda Davis (Ron Milliken); grandchildren, Carly Shockley, Sadie Wilson, Brianna Wilson and Samantha Davis; great-grandchild, Jaylynn Lewis; niece, Teresa Campbell who was like a daughter; as well as, a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005. Pastor James Cagg will officiate.
