

On May 1st, 2023. Carol Sue Banks, beloved wife and mother of two, passed away peacefully in her sleep after blessing this world for 80 years. Carol was known to her family and friends as a loyal, generous, compassionate, and loving soul. Her empathy for others who were in need seemed limitless. Whether it was family, friends, or strangers in need, you could be sure that, if she had the means, she would selflessly give in any way necessary to ease their burden. Carol lived a humble, beautiful, loving life. Her husband Elbert Banks Jr. and two sons, David and Ronald, were truly blessed to have her. She gave so much to her family and friends. To her children, she was a true angel on earth. Her love was unconditional and eternal.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Gaddis and Mable (Golden) Gaddis; her loving husband of 55 years, Elbert Banks Jr.; and her brothers and sisters Lorene (Arthur) Coomer, Lola Mae Gaddis, Evelyn (Dan) Feltner, and Harold Gaddis.
Carol was survived by her sons Ron (Veronica) Banks and Dave (Johnna) Banks; her grandchildren Matt, Arika, Brittany, Madison, Chris, and Brandon; her ten great-grandchildren; and her brother Roy (Irene) Gaddis.
A visitation for Carol will be held on Friday, May 12th, 2023 from 12:00-1:00 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd Street in Franklin Ohio. A memorial service for Carol will follow at 1:00 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Woodhill Cemetery.
