Carolyn Banks

Franklin- Mrs. Carolyn Elanie Banks, 68 passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday

December 10th, 2011.

She was a homemaker, loving wife of 50 years, and a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Neva Taylor, Father Russell Stiver, Sister Gloria Pursley,

Step sister Joann, and many other beloved aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her husband and love of her life, Gerald Banks, Son and Daughter in law Tony and

Angie Banks, Son and daughter in law Danny and Tammy Banks, Grandson and wife Eric and Kim Banks,

Grandsons Neal Banks, Zack Banks, Luke Banks, Granddaughter Hannah Banks, Great grandson Trevor Banks, Nieces Liz Wilkinson and Melissa Jarnigan, numerous great nieces and nephews, and longtime friend

Diane Smith. Carolyn's love for God was strong and inspiring. She lived her life full of faith and love and will

be deeply missed. "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.

Meekness, temperance, against such there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23

Funeral service will be Friday, December 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home (Springboro) Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Miami Valley; 46 N. Detroit St. #B Xenia, OH 45385.
