

Carolyn Smith, 77, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 10, 1947, Carolyn lived a life marked by kindness, faith, and unwavering devotion to god and all those she cherished.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Charles “Randy” Smith, who remained her steadfast partner through every season of life. Carolyn also leaves behind her beloved sons, Jeffrey Moore (June) and Timothy Williams (Amanda), who will forever carry her strength, compassion, and gentle spirit in their hearts. She was a proud grandmother to Joshua Moore (Elizabeth), Tori Williams, Taylor Williams, TJ Williams, and Teagan Williams, and a great grandmother to Elijah and Tillie Moore. Carolyn is also survived by her Niece, Terresa Ross (Roger) and Nephew John Potter (Nan).
Carolyn’s faith was the foundation of her life. She was deeply devoted to God and to her church, where she found purpose, community, and joy. Her presence, warm, steady, and full of grace—touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she brightened with her generosity, her quiet wisdom, and her unwavering belief in the goodness of others.
She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
Celebration of life will be held on January 24th. at 11:00AM at The First Baptist Church, Franklin (Pastor Clyde McCammack). 16 W 2nd St, Franklin, OH 45005, followed by a meal at the Church.
A burial date will be selected at the family’s convenience.
