

Charles “Chuck” L. Clark, age 79, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on August 25, 2026. He was born on August 21, 1947, in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late Lloyd and Hazel Clark. Alongside his parents Chuck is preceded in death by his sister; Hazel Marie Clark.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife; Linda L. (Yeager) Clark, his children; Michelle Clark, Laurie Clark (David Sebaugh), Stepsons; Keith (Jessica) Hall, Jason (Tammy) Hall, Grandchildren; Alex Hall, Charlee Hall, Dylan Mackie, Tayler Mackie, Tyler Hall, Ryan Hall, Brayden Hall, Isabella Wirtz, and Great grandchildren; Hope Hall, Perry Hall, Tyler Hall II, and Nathaniel Hall.
Chuck served his country as a Security Police officer in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, a duty he carried with enduring pride and responsibility.
In civilian life, Chuck built a long and honorable working career. He was proud to have worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube from 1970 to 1977, and later at Ohio Corrugating from 1978 to 1987. He then dedicated 22 years to the Ohio Department of Corrections, serving at Lebanon Correctional Institution, Hocking Correctional Institution, and Noble Correctional Institution. Over the course of his service, he advanced in responsibility as a Correctional Sergeant and Correctional Lieutenant.
Chuck also remained devoted to service beyond his employment. He was a member of the Honor Guard Team and held membership in the American Legion, AMVETs, and the Freemasons.
In August of 1991 Chuck married Linda and continued working until 2012. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home Franklin, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, OH 45005, on August 31, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home Franklin.
