Charles E Cornett

Charles E. Cornett, age 89, of Franklin, OH; died Saturday June 20, 2026 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born in Whitesburg, KY on September 19, 1936 to the late Granville Pearl and Allie (Pratt) Cornett.

Charles served in the US Air Force from 1954 to 1958 and retired from General Motors following 30 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, watching the birds from his porch and singing.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Cornett; his sister, Betty Jo Cornett; his three brothers, Bill Cornett, Dick Cornett and Don Cornett. He is survived by his five children, Lois Cales, Desiree Bailey, Dolores Stuhmer, Sandra Angel, Shawna Frazier; his twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11am Friday July 3, 2026 at Miami Cemetery 6379 Corwin Ave Waynesville, OH. The funeral procession will leave at 10:30am from Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Butler Warren County or the American Cancer Society.
