Charles Disher

June 7, 1945 – July 9, 2025

Charles Leroy Disher Sr., age 80, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on June 7, 1945, in Franklin, Charles was a man defined by his unwavering faith in God and his deep devotion to his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose Mary Disher; his parents, Glendon and Goldie Disher; his brothers Larry, Gary, and Sam; his daughter, Effie Marie Byrd; his grandchildren, Tarrice and Shamyah; and his great-grandchildren, McKenna and Nevaeh.

Charles leaves behind a legacy of love and faith through his children: Charlie (and Jamie) Disher, James (and Maggie) Disher, and Betty Disher (and Mike Williams). He was a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren and a joyful great-grandfather to 16 great-grandchildren. His extended family and many friends will remember him as a steady presence, a generous heart, and a man who lived by his values.

Visitation will be Monday July 14, 2025 from 10am to 12pm at the Full Gospel Church of God 1502 Deerfield Rd Lebanon, OH followed by the Funeral Service with Pastor Sammy Reed officiting. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, OH.
