Charles Edward Stevens

Charles Edward Stevens, age 81, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at his residence. Charles was born in Booneville, KY on February 5, 1944 to the late Charlie and Laura (Barrett) Stevens.

Charles was employed with Lebanon Correctional Institute for 25 years and retired in 1999. He enjoyed singing and playing in area Bluegrass Bands for 25 years and making TikTok videos with his granddaughter, Lauren.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ella Combs, Nannie Abney, Ruby Baker and Wilma Abney. Charles is survived by his wife, Judy Stevens; his two daughters, Kristen Stevens, Ruby Stevens; a son, Glen Shockley III; six grandchildren, Kevin Micomonaco, Chris McGuire, Kaleb Shockley, Brian Shockley, Emma Shockley, Lauren Sowders; four great grandchildren, Cameron Micomonaco, Lilly Shockley, Grayson Shockley, Julian Micomonaco and Jaxon McGuire on the way; a brother, J.C. Stevens.

A visitation for Charles will be Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.

Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, OH with military honors.
