Cheryl Renee Clodt

Cheryl “Renee” Clodt, age 77 of Franklin, Ohio (formerly of California), passed away on October 24, 2026 at University Of Cincinnati Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. Born in Torrance, California on January 10, 1949, she was a daughter to the late Ralph W. Parkhurst, Sr. & Lola (Emberton) Parkhurst. Renee was an active member of University Baptist Church of Middletown, where she served by teaching Sunday School classes, and Vacation Bible School. She loved the Lord, and was devoted to spreading the word of God to all of those she met. More than anything, she adored her grandchildren. She was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother, who will be deeply missed.

Survived by her husband of 54 years, Michael Clodt, whom she married in 1972: children Jennifer Nolan; Brenda Clodt-Marin; and Matthew Clodt (with son-in-law Craig, and daughter-in-law Natasha): grandchildren Reagan, Colin, Nathan, Luke, Gwyneth and Ben: siblings Ralph Parkhurst, Jr.; Linda Ybarra; Shirley McCauley; and Melody Benfer: as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family for a Funeral Service on Friday, October 30, 2026 at University Baptist Church, 4125 Riverview Ave, Middletown, OH 45042, at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Sherrill Sizemore presiding. Burial will take place at a later date, at Loma Vista Memorial Park, Fullerton, CA. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the church for the children's ministry.
