Cheryl Denise Smith

Cheryl D. Smith was born on October 10, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio to Marion C. Carter (Boyd) and Palmer L. Boyd Jr. Cheryl graduated from Patterson Co-Op and the University of Cincinnati and later worked at Premier Health for numerous years. She was a member of Phillips Temple for the majority fo her life where she was also a proud member of Women of Faith, Missionary, and Sunday School Treasurer just to name a few. Upon her move to Middletwon, Ohio, she attended Bethlehem Temple and Word of Live Ministries where she was also a praise dancer.

Cheryl loving known by some as "Gamma", was truly one of a kind. She was one of the purest, most loving people you would ever meet, always having a way of making everyone feel special and supported. Cheryl loved everybody, and everybody loved Cheryl. Her beautiful spirit and warm genuine aura were felt by many. Her heart was big; her love was unconditional, and her presence brought comfort and oy to everyone who had the pleaseure of knowing her. She also had a deep love for life and adventure. She loved to travel and would always be on a cruise or exploring some new places, from Africa to Aruba and everywhere in between.

She spent many long, meaningful years working in a hospital dedicating herself to caring and helping others. Cheryl leaves behind a legacy of love, knidness, strength, and beautiful memories. She was sweet, supportive, adventurous, and deeply loved. Though her phusical presence is no longer with us, the love she poured into us will forever bind us together, and the light she brought into every room will shine forever.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister Cassandra. She is survived by her husband Grady Smith, brother Palmer L. Boyd III (Beverly) and sister Gail Rogers. She also leaves to cherish her memories, her three daughters Charisse, Danecia, and Dominique (Amanda) Spencer and one adopted daughter, Amber Cole. Stepdaughters Kristen Smith and Keisha Lawson (Jimmie). Grandkids Kardierre (Sincere), JaVonte' (Sanaa), JaNae, KeMahni, Chanyce, Kei'Onte, Justyce, Willima Jr., King Savion, Enamorando, Imani, Xavion, Chriset, May, Tacoma, ALeah, Callie and Sarah. Great Grandkids A'Laiya, Amoura, Ba"li and Zedi, a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.
