Christopher Childers

Christopher Lee Childers, age 39, of Middletown, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born February 7, 1975 in Middletown, the son of Raymond Hedger and Susan Robinson. Christopher worked as a printing press operator for R. R. Donnelly. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Amy Fortune Stogner Childers; two daughters, Kristen Nicole Childers, Samantha Lee Childers; his parents, Raymond Hedger and Susan Robinson; four sisters, Tonya Blakeslee, Sharon John Weinel, Teresa Kevin Amburgey all of Middletown, Tammy Donald Deaton of Ocala, Florida; one brother, Tommy Bonnie Hedger of Camden; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Virgil, Russell, Adam, and Deborah Smith, David Drury, Rebekah and Tiffany Kinner, Cody, Michael, and Jennifer Stidham, Meagan and Breanna Baker, Lauren Thompson, Tara Grubb, Donald and Joey Deaton, and Tara, Angie and Kevin Amburgey. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and grandfather, Betty and Albert Robinson; grandmother and grandfather, Elizabeth and Lafe Hedger; and two brothers, David McKinney and Tony Hedger. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Pastor David Dooley officiating.
