Connie Mae Collins

Connie Mae Collins, passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 73, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Dayton OH in 1950 to Mildred and Dallas Alcorn. Predeceased in death by her mother Mildred Shelton, father Dallas Alcorn/Irvin Shelton and sister Mary Shelton.

Connie loved her family, and made the holidays special for everyone. We gathered for family dinner and momma’s famous banana pudding. She was the kindest, sweetest person you could ever know; she touched everyone that knew her. She loved God, her family, her church, fellowship and being outside planting flowers. Her sister Linda would sing her favorite song “The Lighthouse” to her. She was faithful donating to St Jude Children’s Hospital also. Her favorite words to say to everyone was “Jesus Loves You.” Her favorite book and verse in the bible Psalms 23.

Survived by her husband Douglas Collins of 38.5 years. 6 children, son’s Theo Lewis (Mary) of Springfield Oh, Dallas Lewis (Jody) of West Carrolton, Oh, John Lewis of Beavercreek oh, and three daughters Teresa Toohey (Matt) of New Burlington, Oh, Bridget Collins of Troy, oh and stepdaughter

Linda Collins of West Carrolton Oh. And sisters, Linda Dalton (Monty)Brenda Harville (Herbie) Rebecca Jeter (Steve) Pamela Shelton, and brother Gary (Steve) Alcorn. 8 Grandchildren, Stacey Lewis, Jeff Lewis, Casey Edwards, Justin Combs, Chelsea Lewis, Jessy Lewis, and Emmit Klackner and 11 great grandchildren. She also loved all her nieces and nephews dearly.

Services will be held at Anderson Funeral Home in Springboro Ohio on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Sherry Helton officiating. Visitation from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Springboro Cemetery in Springboro Ohio.
