In life there are certain individuals that stand out in a crowd; that shine a little brighter; that inspire others in such a way;  quite simply…they just make the world a better place.  Craig Humanchuk was without a doubt one of those people.  Craig was the very first person I ever met at GE…and I literally owe my entire career to him.  He saw something in me that not even I was aware of and he inspired me to always be better tomorrow than I am today.  And the amazing thing is...he did that to everyone he came in contact with.
He would always say, “Challenge yourself to be uncomfortable!  If you are comfortable…you are not being challenged.”
My deepest heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Craig’s family and friends, but let’s all take comfort in knowing what an amazing life Craig lived.  He affected SO many of us in such a positive way!  We would all be considered blessed to leave such an impactful legacy. Rest well my friend…and we will see you on the other side.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to your family.  In times like these the Bible have proven to be of great comfort.  The Bible book of John chapter 5 verses 28 and 28 holds out the hope of a resurrection for our loved ones who have past; and Joshua chapter 21 verse 45 lets us know that God fulfills his promises. The GE family has lost a dynamic, inspiring and caring leader. No task was too big and no task could be completed alone. We all also lost a great friend to the many people he came in contact with over the years and multiple locations across the globe.  All felt the same regardless of background.

The news that one of the better spirits to inhabit this earth has left us so quickly and so early in life is still simply hard to comprehend.  It reminds us of what is really important in life.  May we all strive to emulate Craig and his dealings with everyone he touched.

I wanted to extend my condolences to Craig's family and loved ones. I worked with Craig for just a brief time while at GE in Lynn, MA. I only met with him in person a couple of times but his priorities echoed what I see written so many times here. He cared deeply for his family and despite a demanding job, always thought his family was most important of all. We connected in that way and it was great having a manager who knew family should come first.

The world has lost an amazing person.  Although I hadn't seen him in a long time, he was truly one of the most inspirational and caring individuals I have ever met.  Craig was not only a great friend, he was our high school class president and a great diver on the swim team - if that says anything about his determination and drive to be the best he could in everything.  He was always there for you when you needed him.   He made me a better person just being around him.  Thank you my friend for everything.

I remember Craig from GM Tech center in Flint, MI back in early 90s. He was UG trainer for my team. Years later I was part of his team at GE Energy in Greenville, SC. Always admired his energy, his vision, and his ability to be very friendly and open.

No words will be able to express the sorrow of Craig's passing. Craig made such a great impact here in Greenville as a leader and a good friend. He completely changed the way we work here for the better and truly listened to input from everyone. I have so many found memories of working with him, traveling to conferences and just day to day interactions. He was always one to help push you to be a better person and I will miss him very much. I did not know Craig quite as long as some folks, but I remember the first time that we ever talked. He spoke to me like he had known me for 20 years.  He had a way of making you feel welcome.  Craig was defiantly a one of a kind.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Craig impacted my life and career in a truly positive way. He was great at reading people and knowing how to push them. I will miss seeing his smiling face.
