Dale E. Philpot, age 73, of Springfield, Ohio, died Wednesday August 8, 2018 at St. Leonard Senior Living. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on October 5, 1944 to Earl and Lucille (Gephart) . Dale was employed with Southview Hospital as a Surgical Room Assistant. He was a devoted Blue Jackets fan and he liked NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Danny L. Philpot. He is survived by his sister, Evelynia Hatfield; sister-in-law, Billie Philpot; two nieces, Tonya M. Dalton and Dana Philpot; also two nephews, Paul Philpot and Mark Hatfield and special friends, Cathy, Steve, Ed and Carol. Funeral services are 11:00 am Wednesday August 15, 2018 at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 East Second Street Franklin with Pastor Danny Griffith officiating.
