In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Silas Hatton and sister, Juanita Brewer. Survived by sister, Mildred Clark and Lois King; daughter, Lisa Johnson; 4 grandsons; 3 great grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Bird and Son (formerly Logan and Long) after over 20 years. In his younger years, his beloved activity was owning and racing horses and he won numerous bowling championships. David was a good and honorable man who will be dearly missed by his family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm with full military honors at 4 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, OH.
