David Sullenbarger

David L. Sullenbarger, age 79 of Springboro, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Hillspring Senior Living in Springboro, Ohio. Born in Greenville, Ohio on December 12, 1946, he was a son to the late James & Lois (Roark) Sullenbarger. David enjoyed fishing, going on bicycle rides, and finding something good to eat. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds. He will be truly missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepson Jason Smith.

Survived by his wife of 35 years, Dara (Lieungh) Sullenbarger, whom he married September 21, 1991: children Gretchen & Kris Klein; David & Jackie Sullenbarger: stepson Ryan Smith: grandchildren Gracie, Garett, and Olivia Klein; Hannah and Benjamin Sullenbarger: great-grandchildren Briar and Eleanor Dale: nieces and nephews Erin Hatfield; Chris Hatfield; Heather Lieungh; Kelli Gill; Braden Lieungh; Bryce Gill; Brynn Gill.
