David Lee Wilson

David Lee Wilson age 63 of Carlisle Ohio, passed away Saturday May 17, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. David was born in Middletown, Ohio on January 30, 1962 to Robert and Karen Wilson Conarroe.

David moved to Carlisle, Ohio in 1993 where he spent the rest of his life with Dawn and their 3 children Misty, Levi and Josie. David loved the great outdoors where he spent a lot of his time hunting, camping, gardening and fishing in Twin Creek.

David is survived by his Wife: Dawn (Stanley) Wilson, Children: Misty (Wilson) Ankenbauer-Ruehl (Jon), Levi Wilson and Josie Wilson and A Grandchild on the way, a blessing from God.

David is survived by his Mother Karen Conarroe, Sisters: Kim Myers, Robyn Wanner, Jodi Hiler (Jeff), His best Friend and Hunting Partner David Wagner (Lisa), his Cousin and hunting partner David Youtsler and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and aunts. He is also survived by his faithful companion Daisy who stayed by his bed until the end.

David was preceded in death by his Father: Robert Wilson, Step Father: Larry Conarroe, Mother-in-Law: Dianne Chapman (Crouch).

A special thank you to Hospice Care of Middletown for the loving and compassionate care given to David and his family. They made sure David was comfortable and all the while maintained his dignity. For that we are grateful.

A visitation for David will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 820 Central Avenue, Carlisle, OH 45005. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Larry Lambes officiating. Following the service, burial will be at Germantown Cemetery, 11179 OH-725, Germantown, OH 45327.
