Hill, Dawn Renee, age 67, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 27, 1958, the daughter of the late Elmer Gayhart and Ruth ( Messer) Mull.
Dawn is survived by her ex-husband and best friend, James Hill, Jr.; her two sons, James Hill, III and Perry Hill; 4 sisters, Sue Bourne, Bunny Velarde, Darleene (Gary) Moore and Lisa Mull; a brother, Ray (Debbie) Gayhart; mother-in-law, Sylvia Hill; two granddaughters, Keira Black and Lexi Barge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School and of the Christian Faith. Dawn was a former manager at both Kroger's and Meijer's.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 followed by a Memorial Service at 6 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005.
