Della Hoskins

Franklin, OH — Della Marie (Cox) Trent Hoskins, age 94, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026.

Born in Germantown to the late Benjamin and Mary (Lakes) Cox, Della was a strong woman defined by her deep faith, boundless love, and quick-witted laughter. Known for her mischievous spirit, she loved playing pranks on her family almost as much as she loved keeping a spotless home. She was her family's anchor, best remembered for her captivating storytelling and her honest, invaluable words of wisdom.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children , Enard Franklin Trent: second husband Pearl Hoskins: six brothers, Arthur & Martha Cox; William & Gertrude Cox; Edison & Florence Cox; Gerald & Margaret Cox; Kenneth & Lorene Cox; Tom & Gerrie Cox: two sisters, D.L. & Floyd Smith; Elizabeth & Evert McGuire: her beloved son, Gary & Karen Trent: and her grandson, Michael Adams.

She is survived, and will be dearly missed by her daughter Gloria & Frank Gilbert: her grandchildren Lora & David Torrance; Mary King; Gary Trent, Jr.; Shannon Trent & Brian Simms; Pamela Dalton; Josh Trent: great-grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Matthew, Munroe Varney; Sierra & Justin Collins; Julia Trent; Sabrina Trent; Mikayla & Gunner Kepler; Taylor Torrance & fiancé Donovan Holweger: dear friend & neighbor Barbara Fugate, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends may call on the family from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio 45005. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 23,2026 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Danny Lamb presiding. Burial to follow at Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, Ohio.
