Detra Riley

Detra C. Riley, age 70, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Oak Creek Terrace. Detra was born in Middletown, Ohio on February 6, 1954, the daughter of the late Thomas (TH) and Virginia (Walton) Richardson. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Charles David Riley and her brother, Patt Richardson.

Detra is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Jen Riley. She is also survived by a grandson, Joshua Collins along with other relatives and friends.

Detra was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1972 and was a member of the Carlisle Lioness Club. She enjoyed being the family cook, baker and seamstress. She loved vacationing in The Smokies at at Disney. Detra remained friends throughout life with her grade school girlfriends. Above all, she was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio. Interment will follow in Springboro Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Friday.
