

Don proudly served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1964. He retired from the Mound after working for over 30 years, however he continued to volunteer at the Mound Science and Energy Museum well after retirement. Don loved to live life to the fullest, he loved to start and end a conversation with a "rye" joke, he enjoyed such activities as: astronomy, listening to all kinds of music and had an extensive collection, photography, cave exploration, baseball and the Cincinnati Reds, and anything outdoors. He was a member of the Toastmasters, and even served as an Area Director.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Don is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (John) Ball; grandchildren, Andrea (Craig) Jutte, Jesse Ball, and Julia (Andrew) Williams; great grandchildren, Shelby Jutte, and Stetson Williams; brother, James Agee; dear friends, Marilyn Agee, and MaryLou Stahl.
A visitation for Don will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Woodhill Cemetery.
