Donna Kay (Taylor) Moredock passed away peacefully on July 21,2026 in Springboro, Ohio. Donna, born April 29, 1947, to Lee and Roberta Arnold Taylor, spent most of her life in Rices Landing, Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed the blessings of growing up in a close-knit small town during a simpler time.
After graduating from Jefferson-Morgan High School in 1965, Donna attended nursing school in Washington, D.C., and became a registered nurse. Although she was proud of her nursing career, she ultimately found her greatest joy and true calling as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
In 1980, she married the love of her life, Keith "Hank" Moredock. That same year, they welcomed their daughter, Priscilla (Michael) Palmisano. Donna poured her heart into caring for her family while generously giving her time to her community. She volunteered faithfully at Sacred Heart Church, Flenniken Public Library, and numerous local community organizations.
Donna never missed an opportunity to support those she loved. Whether it was a sporting event, concert, or school activity, she was always there, cheering from the sidelines. Affectionately known as "Momma Moredock" by many of Priscilla's friends, she welcomed every child into her home with a warm meal, kind encouragement, and unconditional love. In 2011, she embraced one of her most treasured roles when she became grandmother to Josephine Taylor Palmisano, who brought her immeasurable pride and joy.
A passionate sports fan, Donna faithfully rooted for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and West Virginia University Mountaineers. She loved challenging herself with word puzzles, especially the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle, a cherished weekly tradition she shared with Keith. An avid reader, she especially enjoyed mystery novels.
Donna is survived by her loving daughter, Priscilla (Michael) Palmisano; her beloved granddaughter, Josephine Taylor Palmisano; her sister, Jean (Jim) Journic; her nephews, Jim (Rianna) Journic, Daniel Journic, and Paul (Liz) Journic; several great-nephews and a great-niece; and many cherished friends and extended family in Pennsylvania.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at The Enclave of Springboro and Day City Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided Donna and her family during the last few years of her life.
