Dorothy Haddix

Haddix, Dorothy, 93, of Sanford, Florida passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 on her mother's birthday at her son, Billy's home in Sanford. Born on September 20, 1917 to Elder James and Rosa Robinson South in Breathitt County, Jackson, Kentucky she moved to Sanford from Hamilton, Ohio a year ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Paduka Baptist Church, Hamilton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elder Leck H. Haddix; her son, Lawrence C. Haddix; and a grandson, Thomas L. Hogg. She is survived by her sons, Billy Ray Janna Haddix, Sanford, Florida and James B. Laura Haddix, Terre Haute, Indiana; daughters, Oma Lewis Clemmons, Franklin, Ohio and Opal M. Otis Hogg, West Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren, Kevin Haddix, Bryan Haddix, Anthony R. Debra Haddix, Deanna L. Boicourt, Michael D. Elaine Haddix, Todd A. Amanda Hogg, Amy C. Mike Harrison and Timothy J. Karina Haddix; great grandchildren, Brittany L. Boicourt, Mechali L. Boicourt, Jonathan WT Boicourt, Madison Preston, Gabriella M. Hogg, Vivienna Hogg, Devin R. Harrison, and Michael D. Harrison; 3 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; and a step great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 9 at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Darrell Preston officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Miltonville Cemetery.
