Dorothy Neal

Neal, Dorothy Louise, age 77, of Middletown, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6, 2011, after a lengthy illness and a short stay at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born October 19, 1933 in Trenton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Oscar and Effie Reed. She was a homemaker and child care giver. She was a saint, and she will be missed by her seven children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and brothers and sisters. Our mother will be missed deeply, but we know shes in Heaven watching over us. The family would like to send a heartful thanks to the wonderful staff at Loreleis Place Hospice of Dayton. Survivors include 7 children, Dalen Janie Jackson, Glenna Arnold Webb, Del Jackson Connie Goodlett, Garnet Elhard Joe Ihle, Dubin Tina Jackson, Glenda Jackson Doug Burrows, and Gloria Dave Carpenter. Another daughter, Gennie Jackson, is deceased. She was also blessed with 13 grandkids and numerous greatgrankids. Her siblings who survive are Bertha Hill of Ft. Myers, FL, Oscar Reed and Walter Reed of Trenton, OH, Arthur Reed of Celina, OH, Janet Reed of Fairfield, OH, Harold Reed of West Palm Beach, FL, and Johanna Terry of Middletown, OH. Also preceding her in death, besides her parents, was a sister, Mattie Haag, and 2 brothers, Lewis Reed and Floyd Reed. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 10, at the funeral home, officiated by Chaplain John Love. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions to Hospice of Dayton in her memory.
