Dorothy Reed

Dorothy Lorraine Reed, age 84 of Trenton, passed away Monday evening, December 15, 2014 at the Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born March 5, 1930 in Middletown, the daughter of Howard and Anna Powell. Dorothy worked for 43 years at the Simpson Paper Company. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Oscar Reed; two daughters, Sharon Lennie of Trenton and Carolyn Reed of Xenia; two sons, Howard wife, Linda Reed and Mike Barnett both of Indiana; ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Lena Viars and Jackie Johnson; and a brother, Ernest Powell. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Elsie Theodore, Peggy Armstrong, Opal Gentry and Jeanie Barnett; and two brothers, Elbert and Harold.

Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Thursday at the Miltonville Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Combs officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park. A guestbook is available at www.breitenbachfuneralhome.com
