

Douglas Ray Kidd age 76, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at Life Care Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born in Middletown May 25, 1941 where he resided until moving to Las Vegas in 2010. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Howard and Virgie Kidd, brothers Clarence, Elmer (Louise), Earl, Ernest, Herbert (Phyllis), Donald (Libby) and James (Sheila), and sisters Bessie (Bill) Weaver, Betty (Paul) Blankenship, Beulah Knight and Peggy (Don) Nunamaker. Nephews Jamie Kidd, Ronald Weaver, Dean (Dino) Nunamaker, Owen Kidd, Mark Kidd, nieces Deronda Longworth, Angie Powers, and great nephews Michael Kidd, David Weaver and Ryan Nunamaker.
He is survived by nephews Thomas (Tanya) Weaver, Elmer (Carla) Kidd, Jr., both of Trenton, Ohio, Dewey Blankenship, Howard “Corky” (Simone) Nunamaker, Donnie (Georgia) Nunamaker and Robert Nunamaker of Middletown, Chris (Amy Simpson) Kidd of Texas, and Randy Kidd, Alan Kidd, and Thomas Kidd of Kansas. Nieces, Lorretta (David) Gehron of Germantown, Peaches Ingram of Kentucky, Diane (Daniel) Ripley of Trenton, Ohio, Beverly (Dean) Tincher of North Carolina, Cheryl (Rick) Chapman of Hillsboro, Catrina “Kitty” (James) Foster of Tennessee, Susie (Bob) Brown of Indian Lake, Dottie (Tim) Williams, Nancy (Tim) Griffith of Middletown, Kay (Scott) Stoutenborough of Maryland, Carol (Bill) Snelling of Franklin, Jeanie (Tom) Burton, South Carolina and Pam Carder, Nevada and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kidd participated in the Butler County MRDD program for over thirty years and worked at the Middletown Workshop. He was a sweet gentle soul whose heroes were Roy Rogers, John Wayne and Elvis. He loved people and was known and loved by many people in the Middletown area and in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Visitation will be at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home April 7th at 1:00 P.M. with service at 2:00 P.M. to be officiated by Wayne Miles. Mr. Kidd will be laid to rest at Woodside Cemetery immediately following.
