Douglas was formerly employed with Carlisle Schools for 27 years and retired in 2014. He enjoyed vacationing, football and fishing.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Janet Rose Parrish; his son, Jacob (Stephanie) Parrish; two grandchildren, Cecily and Matthew Parrish, daughter, Jessamyn Parrish and bonus daughter, Kaylee Hamm; four sisters, Barbara Izor, Vicky Stamper, Edra Brown, and Lorie Solinski.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 9:30 am at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 East Second Street, Franklin with Pastor Ed Peyton officiating.
