Dwuane is a graduate of Lebanon High School class of 1970. He was a retired BOF/Steelmaking crane operator at AK Steel and worked the photo lab at the Walmart Supercenter in Franklin. He was an excellent photographer and videographer. He often volunteered as a camera operator and producer at TV Middletown. He was known for his sense of humor, everyone called him "Big E" for his love of Elvis. Dwuane loved flying, he owned and piloted his own airplane and enjoyed giving rides to anyone who asked.
He is survived by his brother, Tyrone Thomas of Middletown, his son Brandon Thomas of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is private, followed by burial at Woodside Cemetery
