Edith Teresa Panozzo

Edith Theresa Panozzo (Mueller), age 93, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. Born and raised in the Chicago area, she worked as the assistant to the business manager for Springfield District schools in Midlothian, IL. In 1952, she married Verlyn JaBaay. After his death, she married Richard Panozzo. Following his death, she moved to Fairfield Township, OH to be close to her daughter. She enjoyed her church, attending Bible class, and the many friends she made at Gateway Springs assisted living facility where she lived her final years.

Edith is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Alice (Biehl) Mueller; husbands Verlyn JaBaay and Richard Panozzo; brother Arthur Mueller and his wife Lois (Buehler); and daughter Patricia Wiessner. She is survived by her daughter Verle Lynn (Glenn) Clevenger, son-in-law Robert Wiessner, step daughter Janet (Rick) Johnson, step son Vic (Linda) Panozzo, grandchildren Lori (Rob) Forrest, Ted Clevenger, Mary Wiessner, Heather (Stacy) Sherman, Jonathan Panozzo, Daniel Panozzo, and six great grandchildren.
