Edward Ashcraft, age 81, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Edward was born to Nell Humphreys and Howard Ashcraft on May 29th, 1944.
Edward is survived by his wife, Debbie Ashcraft, and his sons, Robert (Ashley) Ashcraft and Johnathon Ashcraft.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Edward retired from the Miami Township Police Department, where he proudly served his community. He also later retired from Dayton Mall Security.
Visitation will occur on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, from 10 am until 12 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N. Main St. in Springboro. Funeral service to follow on Saturday, April 18th, at 12 pm at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 W National Rd in New Carlisle.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Edward to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Ronald McDonald House Charity.
