Edward Alfred Stevens

Ed worked in manufacturing and retired from General Motors. He liked to go fishing, and play poker with his brothers, and his neighbor Bob. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, as well as shooting a game of pool. He also enjoyed running, and going on walks with his best friend Mickey Rooney. On TV he liked to watch westerns, cage fighting, and drag racing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Georgia Ritchie, and Mary Melzer; and brother, Melvin Ritchie.

Ed is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherry Stevens (McDaniel); daughter, Holli R. Stevens; sisters, Paulene Spurling (Donald), Thelma Wilson (Jackie), and Lois Tucker; brothers, Ralph Stevens (Joan), and Thomas Stevens; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Edward will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 1:00 PM with Danny Griffith officiating. Burial will take place at Springboro Cemetery.
