Ellen Essig

Ellen Marie Essig, age 93, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Otterbein Home in Lebanon. Ellen was born in Jacksonburg, Ohio on February 10, 1920 to Harry and Hilda Allspach Truster. Ellen had been a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Marlene Sizemore of Morrow, Ohio and Joy Bruce Pfleger of Newburgh, New York; four grandchildren, Sarah Dan Libstorff, Rachel, Rosanne and Wayne Bianchetta; three great grandchildren, Nicolas Talor Bianchetta, Laura and Joshua Libstorff; and two brothers, Francis and Glen Truster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wayne Essig; her son, Wayne Essig; and son-in-law, Dean Sizemore. The funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Chaplain Tim Woodward officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, Ohio.
