Elmer Helton

Elmer Helton, age 89, of Franklin, Ohio passed away peacefully after a long illness surrounded by his family on Friday, May 30, 2025. Elmer was born in Carry, KY to the late Victor and Adalene (McGuire) Helton.

Elmer was a carpenter with McGraw's Construction Company for over 30 years. He was a gifted carpenter and loved hunting and fishing. Family was always first with Elmer and he was a loyal friend.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Helton and his brother, Donald Helton. Elmer is survived by his two sons, Jeff (Kim) Helton, Mark (Glenda) Helton; his four grandchildren, Jennifer Fleming, Jessica Schmidt, Heather Brown, Brittany Johnson; his six great grandchildren, Johnathon Schmidt, Ethan Fleming, Eva Fleming, Madison Brown, Amelia Johnson, Lucia Johnson; his two brothers, Vernon Helton, Philip Helton; and his sister, Cassie McGuire.

A Graveside Service will be Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Butler County Memorial Park, St Rt 73, Trenton, OH. with Pastor Josh Clifford officiating.
