Jim & Brian,
 I am so sorry to hear about Evelyn. And I am so sorry that I couldn't be there to pay my respects. Evelyn was such a sweetheart and we all use to have fun in Scouts and me and her use to love to go garage sales.
 Again I am so sorry for your loss. She will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I remember going to her parents house with Linda when I was a young girl....she was always soft-spoken and sweet toward me. My Second Mom,
Most people in life are fortunate to be blessed with one Mom. I was blessed to have two. From my grade school years, I spent so many hours with Evelyn, Brian, and Jimmy she eventually called me "son". What an honor to be loved by someone who so dearly loved her real family so much. But that was Evelyn, she was so caring for so many people as these memories give witness to. From the soccer games, to the boy scouts, to the laughter around the kitchen table when she always seemed to convince me I had room for "just one more helping". I can only hope to honor your life by helping to make sure your grandkids learn about Jesus as you so often reminded me and Brian growing up. Love you "Mom" and I look forward to our eternal celebration together. Our tears of sadness are mixed with joy knowing you are at peace in the arms of our Lord and dancing with happiness in the light of His glory.

My family's thoughts and prayers go out to Evelyn's whole family. It seems like yesterday when my mom, Mae, and I would spend time together. My mom was her aunt, but they were real good friends. My mom loved Evelyn. I didn't like shopping with those two, but they would always take me to eat a cheeseburger and I liked that. I admired how she loved her family, and I would just sit and listen to those two talk. I am out of town this week at my son's basketball tourney in South Carolina so I will miss the funeral. I miss those simple days with mom and Evelyn. I know they will reunite in heaven. She was a very special person.

I remember going in her house and seeing all her dolls and how I loved them. We will truly miss you Aunt Evelyn. I will keep all your family in my prayers. Love all of you.

My heart aches. This was so sudden but the Bible tells us we each have an appointed time to die. Evelyn went to be with her Saviour yesterday and I know she is happy to be with her children, siblings, her Mom and Dad and my Mom and Daddy and other family members that have went on before. We will have a family reunion one day in Heaven and what a glorious day that will be. So until we meet again my sister-in-law we will miss you but look forward to the day when we all saw meet again. Love You.

Oh what a beautiful sister,Mother,Grand Mother, and God Mother of my youngest son. Truly Evelyn"s Services cannot be expanded upon. the memories of a christian Mother is astronomical. I remember the children that she would babysit would love her like a Mother. Memories that I have with James, Her and my late wife will never depart from me. They will be cherished and held close to my heart. James, Brian, and Family I truly don't know how you are feeling, However I know how I felt with my loss and since that time.You will be remembered in my prayers, in a contrite spirit and a humbled heart.

So many wonderful memories of my Aunt Evelyn... She was always so kind to me and so giving of her time, she made us homemade barbie doll clothes and made speghitti to eat when that is the last thing Uncle Jim wanted!!! I will never forget the love she has shown me through out my life!

Jimmy, Brian, April, and grandchildren. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Evelyn was a dear and special friend. I could name so many memories from when we were neighbors in Carlisle. I'm going to mention the trip that Evelyn, Brian, Todd, Tadd, and I took to the Kentucky horse park and then to Frankfurt to see the Olympic flame passing through. It was pouring and we stopped to buy trash bags to cover ourselves. We had so much fun that day. I will always cherish the memories and fun times we had.
